Fire Island
Fire Island is a photographic series documenting queer life, intimacy, and community on Fire Island, created during extended periods spent there as an artist and traveler. Through street photography and portraiture, I capture bodies in motion, moments of desire, joy, and vulnerability, and the unique way queer identity and disability intersect in a place that is both celebratory and liminal. The work foregrounds how queer disabled presence transforms space and challenges ideas about visibility, access, and belonging within one of the world’s most storied queer landscapes.
