Robert Andy Coombs: Notions of Care

Notions of Care was a solo exhibition by Robert Andy Coombs at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum (August 14 — November 7, 2021). Featuring selected works from the CripFag series, the show presented intimate photographic narratives that explore disability, sexuality, care, and personal presence. Organized to complement FIU’s academic and cultural programming, the exhibition challenged preconceptions around caregiving, desire, and disabled embodiment in contemporary visual culture.
