LADYBOY

LADYBOY is my love letter to Josh — my friend, muse, and one of the most effortlessly hilarious people I know. Back in 2013, Josh — a makeup artist who dances between masculine and feminine — let me capture him in all his chaotic, glamorous glory. Strong jawlines with glittered lips, broad shoulders draped in plunging necklines, laughter bursting through every frame — these portraits celebrate how masculinity and femininity don’t erase each other, but amplify each other’s beauty and power. It’s been over a decade since I first shot LADYBOY, and the energy still feels electric. Maybe it’s time for Part 2? One thing’s certain — whatever box people try to put Josh in, he’ll break it, make it fabulous, and probably crack a joke while doing it.
